Meet Attorney Jefferson B. Fairchild

My law office, Jefferson B. Fairchild Law, is located next door to the historic Hawkins County Courthouse in Rogersville, Tennessee. I provide legal counsel to individuals and families in Rogersville, Hawkins County and East Tennessee.

My law practice focuses on criminal defense, family law, personal injury and the planning of estates and trusts.

A Reputation For Honesty

I pride myself on being a "straight shooter" with my clients. In our first meeting, I will gather information about your situation and ask you about your goals. Then I will set reasonable expectations, explain the legal options available to you and work with you to develop an effective legal strategy.

In every area of my practice, my clients benefit from the relationships I have built with the legal community in the Rogersville area and beyond. This includes judges, prosecutors, members of law enforcement and other lawyers.

In criminal matters, for example, I am an experienced trial lawyer and I prepare each case as if it will go to trial. I thoroughly examine every aspect of the government's case. This includes search warrants, interviews and gathering of evidence. Every step of the way, I will defend your rights.

I Am A Rogersville Native

I was born and raised in Rogersville and I graduated from Cherokee High School. I earned my bachelor's degree from Belmont University and my law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. I returned home to Rogersville in 2001 to open my law practice.

I strive to build strong working relationships with my clients, and I welcome the opportunity to serve you.
